On The Program of "Some Old Favourites" :

Our next concert has been produced by Dave Clayton.  Dave has selected a diverse collection of some of his favourite tunes for us to play for you. Many of these tunes Dave has arranged or adapted  specifically for the Orchestra.

We will play some Baroque including Bach’s Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring and the first movement of Eine Kleine Nachtmusik by Mozart. There are also some classical favourites from Beethoven’s Finale from his 5th Symphony to On the Beautiful Blue Danube Waltz by Strauss.

A bit of Romance with Girl With The Flaxen Hair by Debussy, Fantasia On Greensleeves by Vaughn Williams and some dances from Tschaikowsky’s Nutcracker suite. And there are even some 20th century tunes from Stephen Foster and Paul Simons.

All-in-all, there should be something for everyone. We look forward to seeing you at our concert
